(For example, if the appointment type was “sales call,” the dispatcher would only see staff who had the “sales call” skill or attribute associated with them.) Company resources can also be assigned to staff members during appointments.
For work or surveying jobs requiring one person: Scheduling works in relatively the same way as the sales call example above. For jobs requiring use of equipment or other company assets, those can be assigned at this time as well. When your technician arrives at their job, they can use their mobile work order app to clock in and out of their job, view job-related instructions, and even take photos of their work site and gather e-signatures for approval if necessary.
For work requiring a crew: For this type of work, your scheduler can use easy drag-and-drop functionality to quickly assign crews to jobs using a kanban work view, or assign jobs to crews using a crew calendar view. As with the appointment types above, crews can be filtered by skills required, proximity to last job, and of course availability.
